OH, the fun we had! so many wonderful people helped making last night fabulous, too many to name, but a massive shout out to all our dj's for playing the best music ever, everyone who's helped doing model installations with a special thanks to Stiefelkombinat (Eberswalder Str. 21-22) for providing their fabulous vintage wear, as well as Starstyling, Sameheads and Patrick Mohr for kindly lending us their clothes. thanks to everyone who came out, y'all make a blogger proud. xx

if like me, you're always busy going to parties you sometimes forget to eat so it comes in very handy when someone decides to throw you and a bunch of other bloggers a dinner party. this is sort of what happened last night when Otto kindly decided to treat 9 of germany's front line blogger ladies to a night out at Rodeo, one of the cooler restaurants in berlin. the table was graced with the presence of mahret from f&art who also writes the Otto Fashion blog, Mary from stil in berlin and pudri, tessa from flannel apparel knicken, zana from garbage dress, judith from what's wrong with the zoo, lea von lealoves, lisa von lalila, und camila von allet-ohne-schminke. pretty much all of those foxes will also shake a leg at the GLAMCANYON & QVEST FASHION WEKK OPENING PARTY at VILLA so come along!!!

got back into berlin yesterday and today went to check out the exhibition of model of the moment - ikeliene stange. her photos are a bit like herself - dreamy, pretty and charmingly odd. on now at projektgalerie.

gareth pugh after show party

so last night gareth pugh impressed as usual when presenting his first men's collection in paris. although on my to do list to sneak into that show i fell to pieces on the sofa before so i missed out. however i did get my shit together to attend the after party at le baron which was pretty great, to say the least.
today i got back to berlin where fashion week is about to start on thursday. thursday is also the day of the Glamcanyon & Qvest party. no invitation is needed so please come over if you're in town. details here.

paris fashion week day 3 - cha cha & chez moune

so last night was particular. like every other self-respecting londoner in paris i got dressed to impress/represent at the first ever ponystep in paris. however, as i had almost predicted, it was so packed by the time we got there there wasn't any coming in for a while so we quickly decided to have fun elsewhere - after all ponystep was held in le regine which has practially been home for me lately as all the parties are there (i'm going back tonight for the broken hearts club there).
so me and sonia went to Cha Cha due to some wrong info over a certain event happening there. cha cha has nice music but the attitude of some of the people there is slightly sickening hence going to Chez Moune later on was a definite relief. the size of a longish living room, Chez Moune guarantees for a good athmosphere , cool people and dance fun. i will totally be back.

paris hottie of the day

henrik vibskov? yes, please.

i have to admit, i might be a little less interested in henrik vibskov's work if he wasn't such a fine piece of ass. that said, his designs are inspired and have serious recognition value with their colorful prints and geometric shapes. nice people at his after-show party, too.

thierry mugler show PFW f/w 09/10 - OMFG!

today at noon i went to see the show of thierry mugler. despite appearances i dont know much about fashion and designers so nothing could prepare me for the blow that was this show. as the first man rushed down the runway wearing an ultra slick suit, walking stick and a black eye-patch my breath stocked and i remained short of it for the next 10 minutes. i have never witnessed any such concentrated load of manliness and sex appeal. every outfit was a character. a strong, confident alpha male with impeccable style. when the show was over i cheered louder than an entire backstreet boys fanclub. the beyond gifted rosemary rodriguez, who art directed this collection, has pretty much taken a hollywood-like ideal of the male and given him new clothes. i can only encourage all men to take inspiration from this. if it was up to me, all dudes would run around like this.

april 77 party at le regine

after a rather amazing show by henrik vibskov closing the first day of men's fashion week in paris and a pretty good after show party at Chez Moune (photos coming up later today) we headed for le regine where april 77 had promised to have alison mosshart from the kills djing but she was nowhere to be seen. instead the entire party was stock full with male models, so i wasn't too upset.

HA! just got into paris and after quick trip to the supermarket this lovely gentleman crosses my path and raises my spirits, getting me all exited to see plenty more awesome men's fashion these next 4 days.

GLAMCANYON jan 20th

last night's glamcanyon party was awesome thanks to everyone who has made it down. it always makes me a littly fuzzy around the heart when i see the shine of the metallic fabric covering your hot bodies.

the next glamcanyon party in london will be on february 24th which is the last day of london fashion week. more details to be announced.

hello london! (or: i do love me a dapper young gentleman)

so as it seems i'm back in london which, thankfully, is nowhere near as freezing cold as snowed in berlin. the future is bright my darlings and i've got my hands toying around with lots if exiting stuff. but i dont want to bore you with all that right now. suffice to say that after the next GLAMCANYON PARTY on jan 20th in London, i will be jetsetting over to paris for men's fashion week (hello boys) and then on to berlin where i will be hosting a glamcanyon party along with QVEST magazine on the occasion of the first day of BERLIN FASHION WEEK (Jan 29th)!

PICKNICK 2nd anniversary (yey!)

my last evening in berlin i spent here. and it was here i got so drunk i barely made it to the airport in one piece. if you wondered about the girl wearing a sequins dress on a ryanair flight to london this morning that may have been me.

aaahhh, here we go. after a seemingly endless wait i'm thrilled to announce the next GLAMCANYON PARTY to happen in LONDON at The Last Days Of Decadence on Tuesday, JAN 20th! this party will be even sexier than the last with our 60's gogos back for your viewing pleasure and our favorite sexus, nexus and complexus dj ladies to really get your groove on with the best in mainstream pop and hip hop! also just confirmed has Raven Smith who recently published "Club Kids", the new bible to london's nightlife's who's who.
and just like last time there are plenty of chances to get down and dirty in the make-out room or the stripping pole that is gracing our dance floor.
