so yesterday i felt like going out and had to face the bitter truth that berlin is pretty much dead on mondays. the only thing remotely worth checking out on a monday is monster ronson's - the best karaoke bar in the world. little did i know that it was queer night so i rather unexpectedly got to befriend a bunch of lesbians. good times.

not even my bleeding knee could keep me from checking out the launch party of EXTRAFEIN's second berlin store on torstrasse 119. half of berlin was there (the hot ones anyway) and although a bit tight at times good fun was had by all. sadly drinks weren't free, but at least we got to see boobs (thanks blondie).

last night's blind date swinger's club, brain child of the ever inspired and inspiring zana bayne of garbagedress (boy-framed in, below), was so good that no exaggeration i can think of right now would be quite enough. who wouldn't thoroughly enjoy a par-tay whose guests mainly consist of a group of people a cherished friend has appropriately described as "art-freaks". mix those in with a few models, journalists and underaged school-kids and you have a blind date swingers club. sexy.

yesterday, as part of the 9 festival for fashion and photography, the fashion blogger day took place for the first time with a discussion held by the likes of various high-profile bloggers as can be seen here. afterwards there was a party. of course there was a party and of course i was there.

the thing about vienna

my feet hurt, y'all. they hurt because i spent the entire walking around Vienna, convinced that it would not be impossible to find a small hand-full of fashionable glamcanyon-worthy folks to photograph. vienna is a gorgeous city, but DUDE-what's up with the fashion here?? anyway, after a relentless few hours of seeing no one interesting, i finally stranded in the offices of Vice Austria where pretty much everyone was perfectly on the dot when it comes to personal style. lesson learned: vienna's cool cool is locked up in offices where it produces more cool cool.
